La mano que decidía el Main Event del PokerStars Championship Barcelona 2017 llegaba tras un heads-up larguísimo que se extendió durante unas tres horas de juego. A pesar del acuerdo económico, los jugadores lucharon por alcanzar la gloria de hacerse con el título, pero terminó siendo Sorensson el que se llevó el gato al agua.
La última mano del torneo llegaba cuando Lachezar Petkov se movía all in y Sebastian Sorenssón le pagaba al momento para poner su torneo en juego.

El board traía 
y convertía a Sorensson en el nuevo campeón del PokerStars Championship, el primero en la ciudad de Barcelona. Mientras tanto, Petkov se tenía que conformar con la segunda posición.
